JOSHUA BURNSIDE - TEETH OF TIME / MOUNTAIN

Teeth of Time / Mountain marks a special milestone as the very first music video produced by PowerHouse. Collaborating with artist Joshua Burnside, director David Moody, and DP Albert Hooi, we brought to life a surreal, looping narrative inspired by a 1970s waterbed commercial samples from which Joshua intricately wove into the track itself. The video unfolds as a single-take journey that follows Joshua from an industrial alleyway to a strange, dreamlike furniture shop where he interacts with his band. To accentuate the video’s otherworldly atmosphere, we employed a slow shutter speed effect that makes the world spin and shimmer around Joshua while he remains eerily grounded. The result is a hypnotic, cinematic blend of past and present, sound and story.
